    The TEM method is a continuous wave method, but it is also a transient method.
    The GB method shown in the scope picture above is more like the GB used with a continuous wave form, where one takes the ground sample at or near the 0 crossing.

      Hi Tinkerer,

      My previous post may be ambigious so to make it clear the QED patent .A. is current and .B. is likely to be acted upon and the other patent is lapsed as below.

        Eliminate the earth field signal

        I did some testing sweeping a larg, strong ferrite magnet across the coil.

        The EF (earth field) elimination seems to work well.

        For the fine tuning it only needs to move the timing of the sample #2 foreward or backward one or 2 us.
