BTW, there is no ready finalized software yet. I have done it with my experimantal software only (contains a lot of stuff for analysing, diagnostics, measurements, etc).
I want let you merely know, that the simple hardware (see page 33, 34) is the base for a vapour detector. The software coding is not easy and quite difficult (not for me of course).
You have to re-invent some of the novel concepts to make it as a vapour detector.
BTW, I am still working with the introduced IB-PI HW from page 33/34. I will change the platform to the next revision soon (to the high power version).
See below the realisation of the first cut IB-PI HW.

Aziz, I suspect that you are a naturalized Krauts. But this seems to be not much beneficial. The discrimination still exists and has been increased last times. We have still many Nazis here.
My goal?
I have to think about it.
But in the mean time, I might continue my lovely work. And I will give some lecture lessons in human rights and true justice to the perverted and degenerated Kraut lawyers and Kraut judges (must be scum of the earth I think).

I am going to fold the Al foil again ... have to finish it ...

Yes, I'll do it in the same manner but more compact. The coil capacitance does not matter. It's welcomed.
I have to go yet 20m + 30m = 50m (including isolation). Then I will be able to form a D-type coil for the DD IB-coil. Won't be glued for the first time experiments. This is only to satisfy my curiosity.

Hi all,
another good find: 12V input DC-DC ATX power supply module (80 W)
http://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-80;j...QMT!-179334613
One can operate the light & cheap Atom Mini ITX modules easy.
Not much expensive. Cheaper than making it by yourself.

This one is probably better:
http://www.minipc.de/catalog/il/762
Supports up to 32 V DC input voltage.
Well, it's time to get rid of the Netbook and Laptop. Let's make our own metal detecting computer including the controller.

Hi all,
I have some project updates for you:
Jail project:
The arrest warrant under file number 701M 3513/10 is according to the bailiff is issued. Next week, 11/09/2010 at high noon (12:00), I should accept to be ripped off again due to illegal demands and perversion of justice. I don't know, whether the krauts are bluffing or not. But I am not going to bluff and won't accept the illegal demands. As a consequence of this, I am willing to accept to be arrested in the jail for a duration of 6 month (maximum duration). (I have some good books, which are waiting to be studied yet).
My private jail project "crime doesn't pay" could start next week or some time later. I will sue the krauts during residing in a "high comfort hotel" and will try to get some money for their illegal action against me (action for damanges).
So be prepared in case of project delays or my absence.
Now Project update:
I am trying different wires for coils and comparing them.
Following "wires" to be investigated:
- self-made Litz wire (via magnet wire)
- ribbon cable (considered as Litz wire)
- cheap loudspeaker cable
- cheap 30 m Aluminium foil folded as an Al strip (approx. 10 mm width)
Ok, let's continue ..
Cheers,
Aziz

Coil Type Comparison
Hi all,
I made an interesting coil simulation on different coil types having total same size and inductivity. I thought the concentric co-planar coil would outperform the DD type, but I was completely wrong. Performance is tested against high depth detection.
Here are the results:
- Round mono coil (TX=RX coil) : +++ Best performance
- DD coil as induction balanced configuration, TX/RX seperate, both same inductivity and the total coil diameter is the same as the mono coil configuration: + good performance
- Concentric co-planar coil as induction balanced configuration, TX outer, bucking inner, seperate inner RX coil: -- worst performance
Indeed, quite interesting result without wasting copper wire.

Jail Project "Crime does not pay!"
Hi all,
it's very close to my humanitarian project against criminal judges & government officials. They need a big lecture lesson. I am willing to do this by voluntarily giving up my freedom. I can avoid this if I accept to be ripped off by illegal demands. But they don't know me yet.
BTW, I have two arrest warrants. Not one.
(Beware of tangling with me - I am one of the tough guys. )
Project objective:
- Causing exorbitant costs to the criminals and enemy. They have to pay for my luxury hotel stay (70-80 EUR/day). So the law of true justice "crime does not pay" gets automatically valid.
- Reading some of the interesting books (math, physics, etc.). Well, I will have much time for this job.
- Wellness (getting rid of some health problems - a good opportunity for me)
Let's start playing poker. Who the **** is giving up earlier. Me or the criminals..
Rien ne va plus!

The Big Lecture Lesson Day!
Hi friends,
I am starting my humanitarian and justice project "crime does not pay" today. The lawyers and judges in the krauts land do not obviously believe in the well proven theory and practice. Well, the criminals are condemned to have a big programmed loss & damage. I am willing to cause this with good conscience and moral.
But I expect, that they will give up their criminal intent and will release me soon. So not more than a few days or one week. I am always in a win-win position strategy.
Let's give the damn criminals a big lecture lesson.
Take care,
Aziz
