            Hi surfdetector,

Thanks for the video, I had ordered a tl866,2plus programmer and was kinda intimidated by the 54 pages of instructions. Your video summed it up where I could understand it better. It always helps to see something done.
            Appreciate it.

            • I have this programmer and supported devices list is huge.
So far it hasnt failed on the chips i had to program. I can recommend it and its not complex to use at all.

Glad to hear the positive feedback. I agree with you, pictures and video go a long way in assisting the understanding process for new subjects. I also appreciate the many informative posts that you have made on the forum, they have helped me substantially.
                Cheers

                    • voila, the power section is done, I have adapted some voltage on the 100uf capa I lack one 25v to do. So I got a 16v after the 7805 ... it should work ... later on, after the aperitif

                      • Hiya George,,,Can a LM555CN or a 7555IPAZ be used in lace of the NE555 please? If not, is an NE555P ok to use instead of NE555N? Also can a HEF40666 be used instead of 4066BP? Thanks, Marty.

                          • Thank you George. I just have to calculate the wire length for the cable that needs to go from the pcb/enclosure, along the shaft and up the handle, before I build the LCD/Button section and also have to decide whether I'm using plugs for the cable or not. Thanks again, Marty.

What sort of enclosure are you using for the LCD and the push buttons?
