In case you see posts with titles such as "including jewel-encrusted golf gloves", followed by complete gobbledygook and links to fashionable items, please do not bother replying to this rubbish. Simply click on the red triangle at the top right of the post in order to report it to Admin.
It only takes a few mouse clicks for either Carl or myself to remove this spam, and to ban the poster. Even if they make multiple posts throughout the forums, these can easily be removed by ticking a box that says "Remove all posts made by this user". I also ban their email and IP address(es) just for good measure.
I honestly don't know why they even bother.
The time it takes to remove the spam and ban the poster is minimal when compared to the effort of registering an email address, making the email confirmation, logging in to Geotech and making the posts. Bearing in mind that these posts are only there for a short time before being removed.
Please help us to keep Geotech spam-free.
