How to start a new coil winding

Ready to start Winding my first coils. Is to a Vista Gold and a Blisstool both 13" DD coil.
I can start clockwise or unclockwise, and I think there must a different.
In the picture I tryed to show what I had a plan, but please help me with you exsperience.

Monday -tuesday I will receive SHELLs from Georgi, the ultimate Detector Book by CARL, and AWG wires from Brocott.
Can't Wait to give it a try. LCR meter, scope and tone generator is allready warmed up.
