Tesoro Delta Coil and Epsilon Coil

Is it possible to use a Tesoro delta coil on a 12.5 kHz Tesoro Tiger Shark if one was to use a different style 4 pin IP68 connector ? Or do you have to use the epsilon coil only on Tiger Shark ? The epsilon is used on alot of 10 kHz Tesoro units and the delta is used on Tesoro units 14 kHz - 17.8 kHz units.

Please advise me on this if anyone can.

I don't believe you can just change the connector and have it work. The inductances are quite different between the two types. The oscillator would either not run or would be way off frequency to the point of being unusable. Just my opinion.
