CAN I MAKE A COIL FOR A MINELAB ELITE ?????

already had a coinsearch coil but didnt like it very much...im not sure if im going to keep my minelab elite...i just cant get use to it....i find more with my tesoro motion detector...i think these minelab detectors are over rated as im thinking of making a light weight pulse detector and ditching the minelab.
