  • Exactly frequency

Hi, I build a coil for tgsl, when finish the tx coil has 6.08 mH, i can not take off some turns becaucse the coil is finished, i try to add in parallelly a capacity of 40nf 150v after i have 6.01 mH , and with a capacity of 47nf 500v i have 6.04 mH.All measures with frequency meter Victor 6243
    What the best solution please.

Do not measure the L when cap is present - wrong values may show.

    I dont understand the question.

    "What the best solution please."

Probably you need to accept small variance in measurement, cause of unknown parasitic capacitance of your coil and cable.
Your C (in paralel) is with tolerance too, (it can be 10% of tolerance), so for more correct results you need to know exact value of used C.
With known C and known measured frequency, you ca use one of online LC (oscillatory circuit) calculator to get value of L.
For our need, exact atomic precise measurement is not important, you only need to follow and manage what you measure out.
