Fisher 555D Coil

I have this detector and would like to know if another coil is not marked 555D, lets say it is marked 554D or 553D , will this coil work or not...

I think all the 5xx coils are compatible. There was also a 4xx series at the same time and believe those are also compatible.

The coils for for all the 55 series detectors use the 550-D marked search coils.
