  • propper way to null with an oscilloscope

ok iv been searching the forums to find the proper way to connect a home made coil to the oscilloscope for nulling. I'm just not clear on a few things, I'm making a coil for my whites xlt which runs at 6.592khz and I also know the inductance value for the tx and rx. My question would be do I connect it to the scope while its connected to the xlt, or should I build a signal generator that runs at 6.592khz and use that to null the coil. I've found tons of useful things in the forums but theres just some things that aren't clear or I haven't found anywhere yet. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Both ways are correct: to drive your TX coil using XLT detector, or driven TX part of coil by reliable signal generator.

now very more accurately... only touching wire and moving on 2-5mm to a side... resulting at o-scope you see is a huge amplitude's and phase's deviation.
