Minelab FBS coil

I'm trying to determine the transmit and receive windings on the Minelab 10" coil on my Explorer XS. From what I find from internet searches, 1-2 should be transmit and 3-4 should be receive. Could someone confirm this?
This is what I measure.
1-2 589uH .87ohms
3-4 512uH 6.16ohms


I would like to build a small probe coil like a Sunray. I'm just gathering information right now.

How does look like wide spectrum receiver ?
It cant be just one simply resonant circuit.
My guesses are:
- there are two separate resonant circuits to cover wider frequency band
- one resonant crircuit with lowered Q .

What do you think ?

3 series of rectangular tx pulses and un-resonance coil. Carl has wrote about that.
