I made a clamp meter probe to see current in tx coils using a Wurth clamp on core - its very effective (not calibrated) as a relative measure. When I approach a 250 running I see the Tx signal - as The clamp faces touch the Tx signal reduces to nothing and disappears?? Is the 250 Tx coil a bifilar - so sums to zero?? If true how does this put a mag field out - if locally sums to no mag field??? S

Hmm maybe the buck is co located on the Tx coil so thats why I saw the Tx field go to zero when the current clamp closed around the Tx loop part of the coil head.

          thx for the replies.
