    uk customs

hi bernte did you buy it direct or from a 3rd party?, ali express sell them and t2 clones exactly the same but without tekneticks or fisher logos, we tried to purchase one of the t2 clones from china direct, but uk customs seized it they sent me a letter warning me about counterfeit goods, as far as i know they destroyed it!.
just a cautionary tale for other brits, as we never got our money back, we should have just bought second hand.

      hello sinclair
goldfinder fs2 comes direct from china to germany but to another person who makes test for our german forum
i bought it from him, task is still to make a good diy coil for that detector
i paid not more than 200€ (good as new)
      for whole set

you can buy also from ebay italy
      but price is oversized

please send me your e-mail via pm

thanks bernte my wife saved up herself and bought herself a teknetics t2 direct from texas, not my ideal detector but she loves it!.
ive just been looking for the letter, was going to post a scan here but cant find it, the reason it was seized was the chinese company had put fake teknetics stickers in the box with the detector!, if they had not done this and it had been unmarked it would have got through.
a guy at regton said it is a bit of a problem at the moment, there are a lot of fisher, teknetics and bounty hunter clones around he also said they work fine for the most part but that the quality of the plastic is not the same.

Haha, that's the way my clone T2 finished.
The maker glue the screw hole.
I can post to you the PCB looks if you like

it might be educational for others, maybe we can get real t2 pics posted as well so we can compare them, but i'm not prepared to open our lasses, its still got loads of warranty i dont believe in opening things untill the warranty is done.
unless i'm getting paid to fix it but thats different, some people seem to prefer someone they know looking at it instead of just sending it back.

Hi sinclair, T2 is very easy to use and have great balance. I think there are just minor differences of handcraft. I watched the videos on youtube. From the depth and recover speed they are pretty the same.

possibly try disconnecting the coil, obviously the detector wont work but you can see if its behaviour changes, I would do that, if it doesn't its something else, if it does change the you need to try a different coil.
                    use a process of elimination.
                    aly.

My coil was broken and I had tried to make my own coil, I had seen a number of twilight photos. There is a small FCB which is on the coil, it must be connected and now there is no coil overload, the problem is that the detection is still low, only the coil diameter of 27cm winding

                        late, but better then never:

i tested several original coils on the clone detector, all were working like on original detector

after all experimeting i decided to give detector away

result was that you can buy detector it self for very low price, but you need a good (new or used coil) from original manufacturer, or after market coils (deetech, mars...)

                          Hi Bernte,
Have you done a coil for this machine your self?
                          Thanks
