Finished coil - too big for case. doh!
It did fit upside down but the range was noticably worse ???
Fettled case and it fits. NULL is ..........0.4mV (not a typo).
My scope sorted it but the DVM struggled due to cal
Compared to cheap coil from Ebay, 2-3x range approx.
5 cents (Nickel?) at a foot.
Still notice that when I get very close to the coil it seems to work back to front ie
you hear the tone and when you hit the traget it goes silent. Weird?
My gold ring (not the one the sun shines through) at a foot too.
It is pretty amazing!!!
NOW, my Bandido uMax II is a homemade detector.
So far I have found NO Nickels so disc must be good.
