  • Panasonic Graphite sheet material?

    It is purposed for thermal uses like heat dissipation etc. but I wonder if it could be a good coil shield solution?

    EDIT: never mind, looks to be very expensive.

    Expensive indeed, the best use for this stuff is probably making "magnetic levitation" experiments:

      I just found a trashed iphone that has a piece of material under the battery that may be this stuff. I'll try the levitation experiment with some HDD magnets I have.
      In the meantime, Panasonic will put together an experimenter's kit for me...

        That is likely to be a different kind of EMI absorbing material (probably graphite based), I recall seeing it used inside high-end hifi, like CD players, to "improve the sound", glued to the inside of the case.
