I did try a gold bug pro coil on x5, it worked but dept was a-bout same as x5 7'' coil
by mod connector.gold bug coil was a 10'' DD coil.
I tryed makeing concentric coils not much luck.
tryed making DD coils for x5, better luck All coils worked good on templet 10'' to 17'' DD
coil. pin 1 and 2, 6.68mh pin 3 and 4 .90 to 1.14mh, 1.12mh best.
on 17'' DD coil to adjust over-lap coils start center gap about 2'' move back and forth
to get a good null. 17''coil detect a US nickel about 16'' air test.

I am looking also for apicture of inside of x5 concrectic coil
and a schmatic of inside of x5 controal box one of the wire honas is
broken, I need colar code of where the wires go.
As you can see i am not very good with a computer.I use libary computer
i had to get the lady at libary to post message.
