6" OO coil

I wound up a 6" "OO" coil today. Preliminary tests show excellent results!

It equals my 11" concentric. I might try a few of this style but wish housings
were available. Packaging can be tricky...

I found some kite spools that will make for an easy coil build. They are 6.5" diameter by 1/2"
thick. I figure I'll cut the 1/2" down to 1/4" and cut off 1/2 the spool then wind the coils and
slide them into balance by swapping the cut parts.

It's kind of hard to draw but something like this;

oooooooooo <<<< xxxxx
xxxxx <<<< oooooooooo

The x's are the remaining of the side that's cut off.
The O's are the full side with wire wound on it.

I fashioned a housing out of a part of a monitor. It's a little heavy and I haven't epoxied yet...
