Kevlar Kite Coil

I picked up some Kevlar Kite string. It came on these spools;




So I cut out a section;


I'll wind some wire on 1/2 of each spool then slide them together to tune the "OO" coil;


It looks like they will end up being 4 1/2" in diameter...
