I want to buy a new coil for my kc but tesoro sells two types D and E type what coils work I don't know what modern detectors work at the older ones we are building frequencies like in the future I want to build a tgsl and right now I have a king cobra. I have a 8.5 concentric that works but I bought it used and its inductance is not on any list I seen I think because its older then dirt.anyway what coil type D or E. Sorry if this was already answered i have looked for a long time and never found anything.

Well the E is the 5 pin which is for the older models (TGSL Cobra)
The D is the 4 pin for the newer models... -

reading in md4u forum Cibola and Tejon have same coils, despite its frequencies are different. one did learn 3 coil of tejon...Comment
