  • need help w/meter readings on ATX and infinium coils

Just got my new meter and tested 3 coils that I use on my ATX. Do these readings sound okay? I took them from the connector at the end of the cable.

original ATX DD coil: TX-- .543 mH, -1.2 uF (capacitance), 9.1 ohms RX-- .275 mH, -49.0 uF , .7 ohms

    5x10 infinium DD coil: TX-- .526 mH, -1.6 uF , 8.4 ohms RX-- .279 mH, -37.0 uF, 1.0 ohms

10x14 infinium DD coil: TX: .489 mH, -.8 uF, 8.7 ohms RX-- .310 mH, -52.9 uF (all of my uF readings bounce around a bit), .8 ohms

Meter set at 2mH and 100uF

I was reviewing my readings and discovered that I had my RX and TX coils mixed up in the previous post. I apologize for that. The correct reading are:

original ATX DD coil RX--.543 mH, -1.2 uF, 8.9 ohms
    TX--.275 mH, -49.0 uF, .7 ohms

5x10 infinium DD coil RX--.526 mH, -1.6 uf, 8.4 ohms
    TX--.279 mH, -37.0 uF, 1.0 ohms

    10x14 infinium coil RX--.489 mH, -.8 uf, 8.7 ohms
    TX--.310 mH, _52.9 uF, .8 ohms

Sorry for any confusion. Again, the meter was set at 2mH and 100 uF
