Is there some settings I need to change on my laptop or what am I missing.
Since the calculator is not working when you click the "Calculate" button, I suspect you don't have JavaScript enabled.
In Google Chrome, try the following:

    1. Click the Chrome menu icon on the browser toolbar.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. On the "Settings" page, click the Show advanced settings... link.
    4. In the "Privacy" section, click Content settings...
    5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) in the "JavaScript" section.
    6. Click Done.

Thanks for trying to help me with this calculator. I tried that with the same result. I do not get a calculate button to show up at all, i can enter info in top three lines move my cursor to where the it should say calculate and the arrow turns to a hand so i click on it but nothing happens.
I have tried this on two computers at the office as well as my laptop with the same result. Sorry to be so much trouble just thought this would help me building coils.

      Thanks again Darin

If you've tried the calculator on 3 different machines with different browsers, then it must be a problem with the software you have. Please delete the calculator from your computer, then download the latest version from here -> Coil Calculator

With respect to yourself plus your effort and time, If all the computers are in the same office and on the same network, has you network manager/administrator blocked something to safe guard the system? anti malware? anti virus? spam blockers? something bespoke? Firewall? if it works all round the globe in different countries, but not in your office, where is the problem? Did you ask a friend who is out of your office to try it at his home?

            kenny444,

            activeX needs to be active,

when you run the coil calc you have to allow blocked content to run in your browser,
            this includes activeX,
            which coilcalc needs to work,

            be quick though,
im on windows8 and the allow button only there for about 5 seconds,
            if that !!!

I know this is something on my end just can not figure out what it is yet. No network manager in the office just a small family business. I tried my laptop at home and the office as well as the other two computers at the office. I have activeX enabled and click allow but no difference. No calculate button comes up. I'll check my anti virus etc.
Thanks for trying to help guys.
