Here is the inside of my Garrett Infinium 10x14 coil.

There are 24 turns of the green wire. On the green, FTI 20 CSA AWM I A/B 90C 150V AWM 1429. It is a 7 strand tinned copper? hard to tell the material.

There are 29 turns of the black wire. It is a single strand tinned copper? Again, hard to tell material. Almost looks like solid tin/silver, but may have a touch of copper down the middle. Possible krynar.

Unfortunately when I smashed it with the sledge I managed to lose track of the black wire connections,so I will take a semi-educated guess. The green coil is attached to the green and white wires from the cord. That is for sure. There was a 1000 ohm resistor. One end connected to the red wire from the cord, and the other end connected to the black from the cord (I think). There is also a black wire I believe was just used as a ground that was embedded into the black resin. It may have been attacked to the black wire from the cord.

That leaves the connections for the black coil (RX). If I go off of the infinium diagram someone posted before, one end is attached/pigtailed with the red cord wire and the resistor. The other end was attached/pigtailed to the other end of the resistor and the ground?

Does that make sense? One end of the RX coil is grounded?

Also, the coil appears to be shielded by putting something into the resin. Maybe graphite? Carbon?

Also, this may help, I cut the cord at the coil and tested ohms. -- .7 for the TX -- 8.1 for the RX

I have been struggling with my coil. I tried it for the first time a few days ago and got zero response. I will try to hook up my scope today and try and get some readings. I used AWG 18 for the TX and a 40/44 litz for the RX, and had a 680 ohm resistor on the RX. I have a choice of 4 wires to hook to. I have the green and white on the tx. Does it matter which one I hook to? The RX has a red and black. Again, does it matter? I also wonder if I need to hook my black wire to a ground somewhere other than just the end of the RX coil? At least I didn't blow my ATX up trying it out. The resistance and mH are spot on.

I appreciate any help any of you can offer.

thank you Punagold for the coil data. I put a pic here if you are not able to find out it in forum.
