  • FYI seahunter xl500 coil

I broke open a 14" coil from my old Garrett seahunter xl 500 pulse a while back. It had 13 turns of awg 22. bound every 3-4 inches with plastic zip-ties. For those interested.

What kind of pulse delay is the Garrett SeaHunter mark II running at if the coils are at 118.6uh and 107.2uh.

I see that Garrett PI's are not rated in kHz, but rather pps. I wonder if that is why I couldn't get my scope to show any wave type of signal?

Thanks for the video kt315. Can you explain what I am viewing and what I should be looking for? I have ordered new wire (again) that will be a much better match to the original wire in my infinium 10 x 14 DD. It is on the way now, so I will not hook up my scope until I have a better coil fabricated. Until then, I am trying to learn how to use and read my scope.
