  • Teledeltos paper for shielding

    I recently stumbled upon teledeltos as a term for a conductive sheet material. It is supposed to be used for plotting (or something) and can be obtained even today, say http://www.betterequipped.co.uk/tele...0-sheetsp-1262
    It perfectly resembles the conductive sheets used in commercial coils. And it seem lots tidier than spraying graphite.

    Any thoughts or experiences?

    Apparently, the resistivity is 6 k-ohms/ sq. -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teledeltos
    It's primarily used for modelling the distribution of electric and other scalar fields. There's no mention of it being used as an electrostatic shield, but it might be worth a shot.

      It is supposed to offer good stability over time, and its resistivity is just about right for proper electrostatic shielding. I think I'll obtain some and give it a go.
