  • single coil for induction pulse on PCB

    Hello to all
some of you have built a single coil for induction pulse
    directly on the PCB?
    There are advantages?
    carl do you think?
I would like to do some tests

In the forum threads you will find many references and discussions of printed circuit spiral coils. Without shielding they can be quite fast but lose much of that speed once shielding is applied. The geometry of a flat spiral coil results in a lot of surface area exposed to the shielding and consequently lots of capacitance resulting in the lost speed. Perhaps these types of coils have an application for slower targets but other designs are better for small and fast targets. One such design is the 3DSS coil discussed in the CHANCE PI coil thread.

    Best regards,

    Dan

      hi Dan
      thank
if I remember correctly, there is a coil for PI commercial tesoro metal detector...
