I have noticed that the newer Tesoro web coils have a much smaller RX than the older doughnut coil. Is there any advantage/disadvantage the smaller diameter.
Also saw a photo inside the doughnut coil and although unclear it looked like the bucking coil was half way between the TX and RX is there any advantage in this instead of winding direct on top of the RX
