Fisher CZ-6 Coil Params

I just got a Fisher CZ-6 and measured the coil;

TX = 957 uh 12.2 ohms and Q of .9
RX = 6.5 mh 90 ohms and Q of 1.38

Dual frequency machine at 5/15 kHz? No internal capacitors/resistors on coil or plug, apparently?

Perhaps if you told us which coil you've measured it would help more....5 inch? 8 inch? Concentric? DD? etc.

Oops it's the stock 10.5" coil. There is no other components inside (as I read Dave J. saying in another thread).



I believe the dual freqs come from transmitting a square wave and receiving 2 frequency bands using filters.



There's not a lot of coils available for it. I only know of the stock 10.5" a Fisher 8" and 5". I haven't found any
aftermarket ones yet...
