Not been posting much but still using the TDI SL at selected sites, very unique machine. Found a nice barber dime last fall in an area beat with VLF machines. Any way I do have a couple questions and I hate to ask on the other forums because of the endless opinions I'll receive.
Most of the sites I use the SL are either high mineralization, coal slack or mixture of both type areas, but I feel a need to a smaller than stock 12" coil. I've been working more in the high trash areas too and need a smaller coil.
1. Is the 7 1/2 from Whites the best choice or do I need to look elsewhere?
2. What is the cost of the TDI SL update or upgrade I hear so much about on some of the forums?
What can it help or improve?
Be heading back to the beach this year for round two with the SL?
