Surprised you are not using it. Still had it day on the right fields.

The link below was a request for a layout close to the original.

      /QUOTE]
hi k, i had one that was faulty,it turned out to be a real simple fix the switch under the unit that switches between disc1 disc2 and all metal was totally shot, before i found the fix i bought another one from a user on here, it was dead so i used the better parts to make one good one.
then last year a lad in the club who allways wanted one aproached me about selling it, i loved the 1266x but found it heavy even with a harness after i totalled the bike in 2014 my right arm is weaker and whle its fine for a couple of hours its just too heavy.
anyway he offered me a brand new 6" cscope coil for my 990xd(no longer available new),+straight shaft and a mint cs220 so i swapped it, so i have some bits that are no use to me.
one mod i did to it that was really useful, when i replaced the pinpoint switch instead of using a momentary type 3 way switch i used a latching type, it works exactly the same except you dont need to keep your finger on you can lock it in disc1, disc2 or non motion pinpoint, the disc is so good on the 1266x you can have two wildly different settings on each disc mode or have a nonmotion, all at your finger tip.
and if the switch is wired the same as stock it still works as normal(with a click inbetween positions) neat.

            Many thanks coil arrived today.

Wow the 1265x with the 7" coil works brilliantly. Getting 9.5" on a silver sixpence (quick air test).

            That's 2" more than my 1260x with a 8" coil.

Probably only 1/2" difference in coil sizes as neither the 7" or 8" are actually their true sizes.

glad it arrived ok, i threw in some bits you may find useful, the schematic is a genuine fisher one.

Thanks again. Always nice to have at least one working part otherwise you don't know if the problem is on the PCB or coil.

My control box is supposed to be faulty. Seems to work just fine. All metal mode seems very short of depth however that probably just due to interference in the house.

Slightly different behaviour between the 1260x and 1265x when its close to its maximum depth. 1260x just fades out 1265x audio fades the same but the last bit the audio breaks up a little.

these are all genuine fisher schematics i had problems with some of the others posted here so found these.
i could not find them on my computer when i sent the package which is why i put the printed one in.
