Dear mossine,
I did some search.
It's a Nice pulse induction metal detector you have.
First it seems possible, as SSP2100 does, like SSP5100 (2meters max)
If I were you, I woudn't dismantle anything but the plug
I would instead inspect coil characteristics (inductance and resistance) with a ohm meter, and inductance meter later, directly on coil plug. Seems Magnetometer is important for discrimination only because i can see coils with an without discrimination for your metal detector (https://detech-metaldetectors.ro). The inductance of your new 2 meter coil have to match mesured, resistor too. You can put 18",1m, 1.5m 2m coils on you metal detector. You can later calculate coils characteristics of the 2m you want to build, there ar many calc like this on the web :
