  • Coil shells available (uk based)

    Hi all.
It's been a while since I posted but I would like to
to highlite my webpage. After successfully finishing my
own surfmaster PI project (with the help of the good
folk here) I am happy to offer my own ABS coil shells.
Its def been work in progress but now confident in the finished
    product.
I have produced a small website about my product

    https://sites.google.com/site/mmcoilshells/home

I am based in the UK but would welcome any enquiries from
    further afield.

    Regards to all.

Awesome looking shells! Glad that you can offer shells across the pond and supply builders with their needs. I have sold maybe 500 shells now and many have been sent all around the world. Let me know if you would like to swap "trade secrets"
    Don.

      Are the ears drilled ?

ears should be drilled after the potting. resin will fill the ears making them stronger.

Hi Don. Many thanks for your kind words. I do give you the credit for
inspiring me to develop these. Never really happy to make do I saw your
designs and thought why not. A lot of trial and error but more than happy with the product.
i do have a lil trade secret that you may be interested in...
To 6666 the ears are not drilled, after potting and setting then the ears need to be drilled as Ionut has stated.
I will do my best to answer any further questions.
          many thanks for everyone's interest!

vacuum forming coil Shell is easy if you have a good form and good abs plastic

but it would be more interesting if you can provide finished coils
most People fail with shielding and correct Parameters for inductivity and resistance of coil

what are you Prices inlcuding shipping to Germany? one piece /ten pieces? maybe you can publish a small pricing list

Sorry I haven't been to active as of late. Extremely busy
                      with work amongst other things.
I do have the pricing on my coils on the website.
The pricing is stated is for free Uk postage.

FAO Bernte. Postage to Germany is an additional £7.50 and I can of course look at bulk prices.

Paypal would be the most logical and easiest form of payment for myself.

Im away on business at the mighty Glastonbury festival very soon and so I
can fulfill any orders around the middle of July. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm having difficulty receiving email alerts when I receive
a reply to this thread. I have looked on my settings but still cannot be alerted.
If anybody can shed some light on my oversight that would be great!

                        Regards

                            Hello,

Are we better looking elsewhere for shell's if you are too busy? we are looking at trade prices for shells to sell from our shop and also for our range of metal detectors that we are going to manufacture.

                            Regards
