Square Coil 40 x 40 cm for SNIFFER

I made a square coil 40cm x 40cm with FTP CAT 5 (3 turns of 8 ) for a SNIFFER and I have R=5 ohm
Could it work either it is too much?

Better try 4 turns of 4 ,or 5 turn of 4, dont separate the pairs.

Ok ....... But what are the best values coil for Sniffer or (Delta Pulse), diameter, inductance, ohm resistance?

But 4 turns of 4, that is maybe the same like 2 turns of 8 (FTP CAT 5)?

Coil has to be about 500μH, >=2Ω.
4 turns 4 ,are the same turns like 2x 8, but 4x4 has less resistance and less self capacity between the turns ...better coil.
