Garrett ACE 300i DD Coil Specs

Hello,

im not satisfied with the depht of my concentric Garrett ACE 300i coil.

Does somebody know the specs for the coils? Henry,Resistance, Wire thickness.....

And is it possible to measure the nulling at the coil cable?

I susspect that they have preamp in coil like for ACE 150. I saw it on their promo video... It would make this task harder then it seem on first sight.

Im not sure about the Air depht for 1 Euro but i want a DD coil because i can search at a bigger area at once. I think its about 20-25 cm for a Euro. I know its better with the Garrett DD coil and way better with a Detech,Cors....
I guess all the ACE coils are the same. 200/300/400/Euro Ace. Im not sure about the 150 Coil.

I found the specs for a concentric coil here in the forum, i cant remember that there was a preamp used inside the housing.

No changes in ACE series coils.
There are schematic for ACE250 somewhere (on Russian sites).
You can follow such data, but to build big and at the same time stable coil, could be big challenge for DIY.

The standard Garett DD Coil size is ok for me. I have 250mm coil housings and i also want to make a lighter coil about 300g.
Maybe i will buy a factory made one but they are all 450-600g.

with my tester you can search any coil. either this is tx or rx one, with cap inside or without it. i send the PCB on request.

Tester is good and you can send me layout of pcb , but my problem is that I don't have coil, I want to make it.

Sometimes making the coils to light offset the balance, I often found a little heavier coil is easier to swing for longer then a lighter one, the mass of the coil help push the arm rest up and you need less of a grip to keep it there. that's My two cents worth.
