  • Graphite spray for shield

I got a can of dry graphite lubricant spray. You think I could use this for the shield? It says on set and dries to a matte finish and does not wipe off for nothing. Got some on my mower and can't wash it off for nothing. I'm waiting on a piece of cardboard I to dry right now. Sprayed it and will test resistance when it dries.

So, one coat down and I have no measurable resistance yet. This stuff goes on think too So I thought one coat would do it. But I was wrong. What's a good resistance to go for ?

Its Lubricant! I use graphite vaseline for greasing, but definitely not for shielding I am afraid you will not be able to stick anything on it...

That's kinda what I was thinking. But wanted to be sure. The only thing in this stuff is mineral spirits, naptha, graphite, and propane. It does dry to the touch. Like like black spray paint when dry

seems you must delete mineral oil from this stuff. how - i do not know. if you will burn it i think you will get only gas CO2.

Nah, I will just scrap this idea. Had this on hand and just wanted to know if it would work or not. Ill have to find some other way, was just hoping to not have to buy anything. guess ill just try good ol crapy tin foil and hope for the best.
