    Is there any chance that Tesoro would use non-standard coils on the Compadre? The coils are permanently cabled to the control box. Internal trimmers would allow adjusting the ground balance and discrimination to match the coil. It would work but it would not be compatible with other coils. That would not matter of course because it is permanently connected to the control box it is shipped with.

The white concentric coils give no phase shift no matter how I move my hand all over the coil. Did Tesoro give up on this shielding technique?

      who knows if the brown one really has monolithic shielding?

      was the white one built for the laser scout detector?

      the europe/uk version compadre has 8" polo coil
