I like how it gives real time updates on any changes when metal object is brought in proximity to coil. It appears to be very stable. I'll have to give it a try, maybe just good enough for metal detector coils which are meant to resonate on low kHz frequency, and PI coils for which a parallel capacitor can tune it to well within the limits of the microphone input of the phone.
Yes, I use it and it is very good. I put it here for some people who may not have inductance meter and are just beginning in the hobby of building metal detectors. Eventually you will buy proper test equipment if you decide to be serious in electronics.
