Hello friends,
I've found this derelict beauty waiting for me to save her from the trash truck :

It's a Minelab Musketeer XS-Pro, an old machine, but a good one.
The coil is a TS-1000 from Minelab. A quick inspection showed that the coil wiring is faulty :

The cable is made of two pairs of wires, and the socket has (of course) FIVE pins, the three free ones showing soldering traces. Four wires, five pins, Hmmm...

I could try all the possibilities, but I may fry the control unit.
The first pair, still connected is red and golden and connects to the pins n?1 and 2.
The second pair, the disconnected one, is red and black, and connects to the pins (I guess) n?4 and 5.
The pin n?3 may be unused on this model (?)
I'll do some research and post the results here (if any). But if you have the answer, please post.
Best regards to all.
MC
