There is some applicable information in this thread:

A Dual Field coil would work as well. Here is a link to my YouTube build:

@Sallahkhan,,,Whch pcb are you connectng it to? The early versions don't have the pcb connectons for a 'DD' Coil. Can you post a pic of your board? Regards, Marty.

Hi Sallahkhan,,,It's ok,,I have already made the Gold-max but I have only used a Mono coil with it so far. The build file supplied to you by Elliot shows you what connections to make if you use a 'DD' coil. You will have to balance the coils (null) and I thnk each coil has its own damping resistor. I'll check my archives to see if I have any other information for you but I also think a 'Dual field' coil (as suggested to you by Surfdetector) will work better with the Gold-max than a balanced 'DD'. You will be able to wire this coil to the 'Mono' terminals of the Gold-max. Regards, Marty.

Hiya Sallankhan. The Gold-max is a very sensisitve detecter. Even with the 3DSS Mono coil it detects very clearly at 12-14 Inches. I have never tried any other coils with it yet though,,I am yet to find time to experiment. I don't know the mineralization of your are but it should be great for sand. Regards, Marty.

@Sallankhan. They were already posted on another thread. The build file is too large to post on here but if you PM me your email address I can send it to you. Regards, Marty.
