NEL and CORS search coils for Tesoro epsilon questions........

Hello everybody.

I have been looking for some reviews on these coils being used on the Tesoro epsilon machines. Mainly the smaller than stock coils. I've done google searches and came up with goose eggs on these coil reviews. I am considering purchasing the $122.00 coil, but then again, I can't find a concentric version. Then there is building a coil from scratch, as all the info is here on this site.

I shall be using the Bandido II uMax.

I just received an ebay win. A vintage Tesoro Silver Sabre with a 7 inch coil.

Machine is in rough shape, and doesn't power up. (Prolly the battery connector, as I can see some frayed wires sticking out.)

But what gets me, is that I took this little coil to measure continuity and inductance. The transmit reads 21 ohms, and 5.7mH. The receive measures 35 ohms, and NO inductance.

The coil works, which is all that matters.

I'm using one of those little 'all in one' tester, GM328A.

I just wanted to share what I am seeing.
