Anyone out there ever used one of these?
They are made for the GPX series but it works great on my TDI. Nothing detects deeper that I have found but it's a trade off with all the added weight.

Really odd thing.. it doesn't work well with any homebuilt PI detectors despite measuring 312uH and 1.2 ohms.
If I scope the output of any preamp, it seems like it takes forever for the flyback signal to return to 0V. Adjusting dampening is futile...
Also, mounted on the TDI, it takes forever for the audio to settle down.

Hi,
Never saw it but thanks for measurement! For gpx resistance is quite high, but it surely tx-on is faster, typically only work with early delay and low pulse width which gpx has. Just a thought.
