Why is that x coils on the ML gpz7000 or on Gpx detectors appear in terms of depth/ sensitivity to be superior(based on field results) to any other commercial coils? Whats the secret?

It could be attention to detail. It could be the shielding. It could the overlap. It could be the aperture size. It could be a turns or wire gauge difference. It could be a lot of things.

I am pretty sure flatwire spiral wound wire is the main secret to 2-3 more inches depth over most oem coils, then there is some fancy emi filtering in the x coils not found in other coils.
