It is one of the more complex detector projects that has been published, and includes a VLF ground-canceling mode, and a TR-discriminate mode.
The coil info seems to be missing

          The switch connections are easy
          the drawing shows the physical
or mechanical operation and has 3 banks of contacts
          and 4 positions
          as you rotate the switch
the next contact will make, its an oak switch

is this detector capable to find gold ?

According Russian collegues, the ETI project 1500 operates well with Magnum coil and can detect gold nuggets because operating frequency is enough high (15 - 20 kHz).

                  hi guys,

does anybody know what kind of transistors are used in the IC1 and IC2?
The number 4007 didn't help me very much...

                  best regards

                    The 4007 is a special FET chip;

thx Silver Dollar for your answer,

Sadly in Germany i can buy this:
                      http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/da...DIP14__TID.pdf

is this FET similar to the other FET of fairchild?

This project has a big problem and it needs always silent until the button is pressed every five seconds at maximum sensitivity

                              thank you Silver Dollar,

salih mentioned before that this detector has big problems!
Did you build your own? Did you have any problems?
