Tesoro uses "Switchcraft" connectors. Several distributors carry them.

      Carl,

Well, I thought Newark or Allied had them, but it seems not. The parts you want are SL175F (bulkhead) and SL405M (jack). If you're making an extension cable you will need a female in-line jack instead of the bulkhead connector.

          connectors

          Thanks Carl,
I am wanting to make a extenstion cable, I can buy one from Tesoro, but they want $30.00 plus shipping, I might be wrong, but I think that is high.
If this was something that I thought I would use and use all the time, the price would not be that out of line. But you see I like to tinker and im not for sure I will use it that much. If you happend to run acrossed a place that sells them, I would appreicate you letting me know.
          Thanks Greg

Here's a link for normal 5-pin connectors for cb radios they fit minelab detectors, I don't know about Tesoro.

              BigRex,
Maybe Carl will get a chance to look at the plugs on the link you posted and tell me if he thinks they will work. Thanks Greg

                    Try here:

                    http://www.onlinecomponents.com/sear...cfm?ref=sparts

You want the SL405M and the SL415F to make an in-line cable.
