  • Capacitors of identical TX and RX DD coil

    Hi everyone,
if the inductance of these two inductor of a DD coil is identical and both have the same frequency, then why the capacitors value is not the same? Click image for larger version

a mistake on RX part. L+C are not in resonance to Tx one. thinking C3 has to be in 3.3...4.7nF range.

TX tuned to 10.17 kHz, RX tuned approximately 7% higher, at 10.87 kHz. This is very common, it improved the stability of the detector. Sometimes RX is tuned lower than TX, the reason is the same.
