I have been searching for Minelab data DIY on this forum and other areas for quite some time now. Many ideas, but nothing really concrete. Some say use this type of litz wire 32/0.2 mm or 72/0.125 mm etc... Shielding graphite on card board, paper plastic, copper cloth, shield spray(MG) 80 to 120 ohm/cm etc... It is the coil to the box cable is one of the bigger of issues. Haven't found much info for this area of coil building. So the question is what is the necessary wire(litz), shielding technique(s) with value(ohms sq/inch), cable(s) coil to box to make a good ML 10" coil Commander style coil? Where to purchase such items? To have this info in a posting or so would be a great help to others searching for the same info. Hope those who have built ML coils part with their knowledge on their build.
