  • PI coil with resist is a good point?

what for resist shold a PI coil have? have wire 2 coils arround 330uH 0.4wire 0.6

    0.4 2.5ohm
    0.6 1ohm

It depends what machine you want to build? What current you need? At tx pulse width or voltage and freq rate

There are reasons to minimize coil resistance, and reasons not to minimize coil resistance. As Op04 says, it depends on the design.

For which detector is your coil made for?

stand allrdy PI pulse induction otherwise i will type VLF or BFO

            Let's try again...

There are reasons to minimize coil resistance, and reasons not to minimize coil resistance in a PI design. Different PI designs have different coil requirements, so it depends on what you are designing for. There is no one answer for PI.

why just a resist? why is not parasitic capacitance interturn, for example? why is not Q factor of the coil, for example?
while you sure know Ohm's Law for DC circuit, it's clear for me. sorry much, but Pulse time is not DC circuit current

                  Hi,

I know that it was made for a PI detector.... but for which detector (the name or model)? That was my question and would might give an answer to your question.
Further what type of coil is it? A mono PI coil or maybe a big frame coil?

it was more a general question. btw i forgott to tell the coil are simple round shape 280mm
