Hi All.
I'm building a CCO detector (see thread I posted in "schematics") and
need some advice on coils.
Specifically this design uses two of them, of different frequencies,
creating a third frequency where they intersect. In my case I'm making
the coils concentric. I figure the smaller central coil should have a small
null zone in the very center, good for pinpointing. Is there a formula for
knowing the number of turns relationship between the two coils? Tom
said he thinks if you halve the dia., then halve the number of turns, but
he's not sure and neither am I. If this is totally new then I wouldn't expect
anyone to know, but hoping some of you do.
