    Fine. Thank you.

My suggestion is that large sensors work better with the electronics of a static detector, such as Silver Star from Hungary, or HS3 from Poland. the best results are with concentric (coaxial) coils, but even with DD type coils you can achieve good results, but the technique of making them is different - it does not involve pouring resin into the coils, I use foam and small amounts of resin.

In practice, I have found that the best results in ground tests are for coils up to a maximum of 42 cm, above which they become heavy and unstable, maybe I will be able to post photos of the most optimal extrusions. The stampings are larger to keep the graphite screen with a resistance below 1K away from the windings.

The photo shows the molds (cans) not yet cut and without ears.

hey guys can anyone tell if i can use coils made for the xp gold maxx power on the nokta velox one as far as i know they have same type connector and velox is a supposed clone but they have a slight frequency difference velox17.5khz - gold maxx 18khz please advise as im looking to buy a coil

Good evening, I have a Nokta Velox and the Goldmaxx power coils are fully functional, 100x100 compatible, I think a 15x12 SEF would do the job, I don't know if you can order another one that they have larger, 21x17 I think.

X years ago, I had the opportunity to work with Velox One for a few hours.
I couldn't shake the impression that I was holding a direct clone of XP Gold Max Power in my hands.
I immediately wrote it on the forum.
Of course, a smart cloner will never copy a machine 100% identical to the original.
They will always change a few details.
I have no material evidence for all this. I rely only on my experience and feeling in working with detectors.
The same way I had the impression of holding a Fisher 1265 xx years ago when I first held an old XP Adventis in an aluminum case!
I think that the entire history of metal detectors is explained in these few sentences!

                    Hi Ivconic,

Not only the "entire history of metal detectors". Also the whole industrie. Everyone copies from everbody. I studied lots of detector circuits in the past and have seen lots of extreme similarity in designs between different manufacturers. But of course most detector circuit designs contains standard circuit blocks which were used by every designer.
