Reg I made a coil last weekend as you suggested but with out the shield at this time. 21 turns 30 awg teflon. I get a 9 to 10 usec delay now. much better than the enameled wire I was using. Now waiting on the new boards from Carl so I can begin again.
Been too busy here at work taking care of the Daylight saving time fixes on workstations and servers to be able to spend much time on the Hammerhead. Plus I have a windows 2000 server running sql 2000 that I have to replace before the time change. Thats all above what my regular day is like.

Hi Ray,

Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you. I simply missed your post.

It sounds like you are going to be busy for a while with the time change problem. I hope all works out fine and you can get back to the HH project.

It also sounds like you are getting the delay down which is a good thing. Getting the delay down to 9 to 10 usec is a major achievement. It is tough to do. I am glad you have accomplished it.
