Hi,
Does someone ever try to use Deepseeker Garrett coils onto an old Whites detector ?
The frequencies are not very differents, 5.5 Khz for the Garrett and 5.1 Khz for the Whites.
Today, I've try to do that by soldering a 100nF capacitor on the TX coil.
The working frequency is about 5 Khz but infortunatly the detection range is very poor. Maybe, there is something to do on the RX coil.
Any experience and/or advice is welcome.
